How long will my system be offline?

Typically, your system is offline from the removal date until roofing is complete and we reinstall/recommission. We schedule reinstall as soon as the roof is ready, and we’ll coordinate timing with your roofer to minimize downtime.

Do you work with all roof types?

Yes—shingle, standing seam metal, and flat roof projects. We’ll confirm roof type, attachment approach, and any waterproofing details up front.

Can you lift & replace a system you didn’t install?

Often, yes. We’ll inspect the existing equipment and mounting approach, note any concerns (aged components, damaged rails, unsafe wiring), and recommend the safest plan before we start.

What happens if you find damaged panels or wiring?

We document the issue, review replacement options with you, and only proceed once you approve. If parts are needed, we can help source compatible components and get you back online cleanly.

Do you replace roof attachments or flashing?

If attachments or seals need to be replaced due to age, roof changes, or compatibility, we’ll flag it before reinstall and use the correct hardware for the new roof conditions.

Can you store the panels off-site (and are they insured)?

Yes—on-site or off-site storage is available depending on space and security. We’ll outline the storage plan clearly in your scope so everyone knows where equipment will be and how it’s protected.

Will my monitoring app work again after the reinstall?

In most cases, yes. After recommissioning, we confirm operation and verify monitoring connectivity. If the existing monitoring equipment is outdated or failed, we’ll recommend a practical fix.

What info helps you quote accurately?

Address, roof type (shingle/metal/flat), estimated roofing date range, and a few photos of the array/roofline. If you have the system size or panel count, include that too.
